Edgerton’s Public Works crews recognized at event

The City of Edgerton competed in the 2019 Mid-America Equipment Expo on September 24 – 25, 2019.

The Mid-America Equipment Expo is an event hosted by the KC Metro Chapter of APWA. This event brings together training, vendor equipment and product showcases, equipment operation and competition. The Expo allows local municipalities to access low cost training, provide networking opportunities and showcase operators skills and abilities in several different equipment competitions.

Three of Edgerton’s Public Works maintenance technicians did well in the competitions.

Ryan Whalen earned 4th Place in the Skid Steer Event and 8th Place in the Sweeper Event. Randall Bennett placed 8th in the Light Duty Snow Plow Event. And Bryce Webster earned 7th in the Sweeper Event.
