Edgerton City-Wide Clean-Up

Help keep Edgerton clean! The City-Wide Clean-Up is set for May 15, 2021. Clear out the clutter and junk from your house. Residents that need assistance with disposing bulky items and/or yard cleanup tasks should contact City Hall by noon on Wednesday, May 5.
Items that can be placed CURBSIDE:
• Appliances without CFCs: Washer, Dryer, Water Heater
• Furniture (must be able to be lifted by two people)
• Carpet (no more than 65 lbs. per roll)
• Construction Debris (small, loose items must be bagged, concrete is not allowed)
Items that can be dropped off at Edgerton PUBLIC WORKS (700 E Nelson St) between 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.:
• Appliances with CFCs: Refrigerators, Freezers, Air Conditioners
• Tires – Charges Apply: $5 per tire up to 22”, $25 for tractor tires
• Motor Oil
• Yard Waste
No building materials of any kind can be dropped off at Public Works. No plastic bags.
Items that can be taken to OTHER LOCATIONS:
Household hazardous waste can be taken to Olathe’s Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Site, 1420 S. Robinson Dr., Olathe, KS 66061. The City of Olathe operates a year-round program for Johnson County residents at no charge. Hazardous waste is any household product that contains ingredients that are toxic, flammable, reactive, or corrosive. Check the label to see if it contains key words such as “warning,” “caution,” “danger,” “flammable,” “toxic,” “poison,” or symbols such as a skull and cross bones. By Appointment Only. Schedule your appointment 24-hours in advance. The HHW Disposal site is open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or on the first, third, and fourth Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Schedule Now!
