Due to forecasted storms for tonight, the movie night has been postponed until Saturday, May 13.  Unfortunately, the KU Astronomy Department was unable to reschedule for Saturday.  We will still have stomp rockets, a blow-up solar system, and yard games for families to enjoy before the movie starts at 8:45 p.m.

The first movie night of the year happens on May 12 in Martin Creek Park. Bring blankets and chairs as we show this classic film on the soccer field at dusk.  Edgerton Parks and Rec will have popcorn available for snacks, but feel free to bring your own tasty treats.

Before the movie starts, the KU Astronomy Department will be there doing demonstrations and space-related activities. Plus, we’ll have stomp rockets and a blow-up solar system for the kids to enjoy.
