The City of Edgerton, Kansas is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Parks and Recreation Coordinator to join their fast-paced, results oriented, and fun team! The Parks and Recreation Coordinator is responsible for the development, planning and implementation of programs and events throughout the community. The Parks and Recreation Coordinator will be responsible for developing and planning on-going maintenance and investments throughout the City of Edgerton’s park system. The City of Edgerton is home to several parks, and the City enjoys partnerships with Johnson County Parks & Recreation District and other local municipalities to provide high quality park and recreation opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of programs, festivals and activities. He/she must have exceptional communication skills and will be responsible for making presentations to the public. The chosen candidate will serve as the primary liaison to the Johnson County Parks & Recreation District. The compensation for the position is $39,000-$49,800, depending on qualifications and experience.
