DESCRIPTION:Our annual BBQ competition has moved to September! \nGet fired up for a sizzling weekend packed with bold flavors\, live entertainment\, and smoky showdowns! Sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society\, this event brings top BBQ teams from across the region to battle it out and showcase their best ribs\, brisket\, chicken\, and pork. \nThe fun kicks off Friday night with a community celebration featuring a delicious BBQ dinner\, full bar\, live music\, and an exciting street performer. Young pitmasters can also take center stage during our annual KidsQ\, where kids ages 5–15 compete to grill up mouth-watering burgers for local judges. On Saturday\, visiting KCBS teams go head-to-head in four official meat categories\, while local grill masters can prove their skills in our backyard competition. Registration for both community contests opens this summer—so bring the heat\, show us what you’ve got\, and join us for a weekend of great food\, great music\, and unforgettable BBQ!

DESCRIPTION:Rev your engines and bring the whole family out for a spooktacular day of classic cars\, cool rides\, and a Halloween Trunk or Treat at the first-ever Motors & Monsters Car Show on Saturday\, October 10th from 12pm-4:30pm! \nKids are invited to wear their costumes for a trunk or treat! Each car will be given candy to hand out to the kids. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to decorate their vehicles for a Halloween twist. Think spider webs\, pumpkins\, monsters – get creative and stand out!
