Beginning Monday, October 17, approximately 100 feet of 8th Street will be closed at the intersection with Braun Street. Traffic will not be able to turn North onto 8th Street from Braun, but the intersection will remain open to east-west traffic along Braun.
Crews will be relocating a water line and beginning initial site work for widening of the intersection.
Please use 2nd Street/Co-Op Road. Detours will be marked. All trucks should use 2nd Street during this closure.
The intersection widening project is part of the 207th Street Grade Separation Project. The City contracted with Pyramid Contractors to add pavement in all directions and a new turn lane to southbound 8th Street.
