As a recognized leader in the state of Kansas, the Gardner Edgerton School District (USD231) has established goals and implements programs and policies that reach far beyond merely meeting expectations.

Edgerton is home to Edgerton Elementary School that serves students Kindergarten through fourth grade. The Learning & Career Center (LCC)

With a staffing specialist onsite three days per week, the LCC provides employer and job seeker services — at no cost. Services include free online job postings, job seeker screening, recruiting and events (informational sessions and job fairs), assessments, work-based learning, labor market information, salary comparison analysis and job description development. Gardner Edgerton Chamber of Commerce

The Gardner Edgerton Chamber of Commerce is a private, membership-driven organization comprised of businesses large and small, civic organizations, units of government, and individuals. Historical Society

The Community Museum is located directly east of City Hall. Free admittance, but donations gladly accepted. Those interested in donating, loaning items or in volunteering at the museum should call Charlie Troutner at (913) 893-6270.
