The City of Edgerton requires all businesses doing business within the City to file for an annual business license. Each business license is $5 and should be renewed each calendar year.

Businesses that are registered with the City will receive a certificate that should be displayed at their primary place of business within the City.

NEW - License Portal

The City of Edgerton has launched a new online portal for businesses and individuals to apply and pay for City licenses online.

  1. Please go to municipalonlinepayments.com/edgertonks or click the button below.

  2. In the upper right corner click login/register. You will need to create a new online account or use login if preexisting.

  3. Once logged into the portal you will need to click on Associated Licensee (on the left of the screen), fill out the requested information and submit. Staff will then review your request and respond within 1 business days. ** Please do not submit multiple**

  4. Once your associated licensee application access has been granted, you will then click on "Apply for a License" (on the left of the screen). Fill out the required information to the best of your knowledge and submit. Staff will then review your application and respond within 1 business day. ** Please do not submit multiple**

  5. Once your business license is approved, go into your portal, you will see your pending license on the Home Screen, you will click the arrow of the pending license and it will take you to the payment screen. (This page can be slow to load) Once paid you will be able to access your license on the portal.
