JoCo Mask Mandate Ends, Community Hall Rentals to Resume

Kara Banks City News

The Johnson County Board of County Commissioners rescinded the county-wide mask mandate as of 11:59 p.m. on April 30. The County is still strongly recommending masks indoors and in other settings where social distancing is not possible. See the full resolution here.

As a result, beginning on May 1, the City of Edgerton will no longer require masks in City Hall.

Staff will continue to regularly sanitize all public spaces.

Also beginning May 1, the Edgerton Community Hall is available once again to rent for parties, meetings, and events as the COVID-19 guidelines relax.

Rental reservations must be made in person at Edgerton Community Hall, 404 E. Nelson from 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. You will be asked to sign a COVID-19 waiver, rental agreement, and pay applicable fees.

The resident rate applies to residents and businesses of Edgerton. If you would like to qualify for the resident rate, please bring a valid driver’s license or a photo ID and current utility bill in your name.
