Learn How to Be Dog-Smart!
Join us for an important and fun-filled Dog Bite Prevention Class led by our local Animal Control Officer, Charlie! This kid-friendly program is all about teaching children how to safely interact with dogs—whether they’re meeting a friend’s pet or encountering a dog in the neighborhood.
Kids Will Learn how to safely approach and greet a dog, what body language to watch for in dogs, when it’s best to stay away, and what to do if a dog seems scared, angry, or overly excited.
