Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Kick off the holidays with the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Downtown Edgerton. Children from Edgerton Elementary Choir will perform before the Mayor and a special guest will flip the switch on the tree on December 5, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. This year’s ceremony will be held in the lawn next to The Greenspace.

After the lights come on, head inside The Greenspace to meet Santa and enjoy some cookies and hot cocoa generously provided by our sponsors from the Edgerton United Methodist Church and Central Bank of the Midwest. Each child will also go home with a present.

This is a totally free event for the whole community to enjoy!
