3rd of July Community Picnic and Fireworks Show

We’re celebrating America’s 250th year in Edgerton! Join your friends and neighbors for a day full of fun activities for the whole family.

This family-friendly event features:

  • America 250 Pancake Breakfast
  • Founding Fathers Scavenger Hunt
  • DJ Phil Davis
  • Inflatable bounce houses and amusement ride
  • Face painting
  • Other fun activities for the whole family

Schedule of events (subject to change):

  • 8AM-11AM – America 250 Pancake Breakfast at The Greenspace sponsored by ASSA ABLOY
    • $5 per person
    • Veterans and Kids Under 5 eat free
    • Tickets available at the door
  • 9AM-10AM – Live bald eagle and golden eagle demonstration at The Greenspace
  • 11AM – 3PM – City-wide Founding Fathers Scavenger Hunt
  • 6 PM – Gates open at Martin Creek Park
    • FREE Burgers and hotdogs available from Two Guys and a Grill, while supplies last
    • Amusement ride and bounce houses open
    • FREE Ice Cream sponsored by LENNAR, while supplies last
  • 9 PM – Watermelon Eating Contest
  • 9:45PM – Fireworks begin

Getting to the Event

Parking is limited at Martin Creek Park. Additional parking is available across the street in Big Bull Creek Park.

Shuttles to the event are available from 6:00 p.m. – 11 p.m. Stops are located in front of The Greenspace (303 E. Nelson) and Edgerton Elementary in the south parking lot (400 W. Nelson). The shuttle is free. There will be two buses running continuously. See the map below:
