Join your neighbors for the biggest, loudest event of the year in Edgerton!
Start your Independence Day celebrations at Martin Creek Park for this year’s Community Picnic & Fireworks Show.
The gates to the park open at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Festivities kick off with a community picnic. Two Guys and A Grill will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers, chips and water while supplies last.
This family-friendly event features:
- DJ Phil Davis
- Inflatable bounce houses
- Face & hair painting
- Yard Games
Don’t forget to bring blankets, chairs, sunscreen and extra water.
Stay until dark for the best fireworks show in southern Johnson County! The sky lights up around 9:45 p.m.
Parking is limited at Martin Creek Park. Additional parking is available across the street in Big Bull Creek Park.
EVENT UPDATE: Due to the rain we’ve received over the past few days, we will not be able to park in the soccer field. Parking will be EXTREMELY limited at Martin Creek Park.
Shuttles to the event are available from 6:00 p.m. – 11 p.m. Stops are located at City Hall and Edgerton Elementary. The shuttle is free. See the map below:
