The City of Edgerton is launching a new road reconstruction project to improve safety for pedestrians and drivers along E. 2nd Street and Edgewood.

The road will be entirely removed, the base rebuilt, and the road reconstructed in 2025. New sidewalks, street lighting, and stormwater system improvements are also included in the plan.

City staff is hosting one-on-one meetings with homeowners who live along the project now through August 16. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss the impact of the project and begin negotiations for any needed easements. Homeowners can schedule a meeting by clicking this link.

Residents that may need special accommodations (like handicap parking, oxygen deliveries, etc.)  during construction should contact Holly Robertson, CIP Project Manager, as soon as possible.
