The inaugural Motors & Monsters Car Show will be held in downtown Edgerton on Saturday, October 10. There will be live music, food trucks, cool cars and a Halloween costume contest for families.

Road Closures and No Parking:

To maintain safety for everyone attending the event, Nelson Street will be closed between West 5th Street and East 4th Street on Saturday, beginning at 8 a.m. It will reopen by 6 p.m. or as soon as possible after the end of the car show.

The intersections at Nelson with East 2nd and East 3rd Street will remain open during the event. Crossing guards will help pedestrians attending the event safely cross at those intersections.

Parking restrictions will be in place in the neighborhoods surrounding the event to make sure there is a lane available for drivers. Please do not park in any no parking zones on Saturday.

On Saturday, October 10^th beginning at 7:00 a.m., the following streets will be prohibiting parking on both sides of the street.

East McCarty Street: 1^st Street to East 5^th Street;
East Hulett Street: 1^st Street to East 5^th Street;
East Martin Street: 1^st Street to East 3^rd Street;
East Nelson Street: West 8^th Street to West 5^th Street;
East 4^th Street: from the alleyway one half block south of East Nelson Street to East Martin Street;
East 3^rd Street: from the alleyway one half block North of East Nelson Street to the alleyway one half block South of East Nelson Street.

On Saturday, October 10th beginning at 7:00 a.m., the following streets will be prohibiting parking on the side of the street notated.

East side of 1^st Street: from 56 Highway (East Morgan Street) south to East McDonald Street;
East side of 2^nd Street: from East Nelson Street south to East McDonald Street;
East side of East 3^rd Street: from 56 Highway (East Morgan Street) south to the alleyway one half block south of East Hulett Street;
West side of East 3^rd Street: from alleyway half block south of East Nelson Street to East Martin Street;
West side of 5^th Street: from East Nelson Street to East Martin Street;
East side of 5^th Street: from East McCarty Street to East Nelson Street;
North side of East Martin Street: from East 5^th Street to East 3^rd Street;
East side of East 4^th Street: from East Nelson Street to alleyway half block south of East Nelson Street;
South side of East Nelson Street: from East 4^th Street to East 5^th Street;
East side of West 5^th Street: from West Nelson Street to West Martin Street;
South side of West Martin Street: from West 5^th Street to West 7^th Street;
East side of West 7^th Street: from West Nelson Street to the end of the street to the south.
