The Contractor for the East 2nd Street Reconstruction Project has encountered some unforseen existing conditions related to utility relocation work for the project.
These conditions will result in the south leg of the intersection at Edgewood Drive and West 3rd Street to be closed at least through the weekend. Edgewood will remain open to traffic, but drivers will not be able to turn south on West 3rd.
There will be NO service interruptions due to this work. We will post once the work is complete and the intersection reopened. Residents will need to use adjacent streets to avoid this intersection. Please drive carefully in construction zones.
