City offices will be closed on December 23-25, 2024 in observance of Christmas and on January 1, 2025 in observance of New Years.
Trash pick-up will be delayed by one day both weeks. Please set out your trash bins on December 26th and January 2nd instead. The City’s solid waste contractor, Gardner Disposal, allows an extra 10 bags of trash to be set out for pickup on December 26th. No trash stickers are needed for these extra bags.
If you have a road, sewer or water emergency outside of normal business hours, please call 913-893-6231 and follow the prompts to reach an on-call staff member. For all other emergencies, please call 9-1-1.
