Road closures, parking restrictions planned for Meat Inferno

The City of Edgerton welcomes back competitive barbeque teams for the 2nd annual Meat Inferno on October 6 & 7.

A map showing the road closures and parking restrictions around downtown Edgerton on October 6 & 7, 2023. Nelson Street between E. 5th and E. 3rd and 4th Street between US 56 and the alley behind the Library will be closed to vehicular traffic.

To accommodate the event, several roads will be closed through downtown, including:

  • 4th Street from U.S. 56 to the alley behind the Library.
  • Nelson Street between E. 3rd and E. 5th  
  • Hulett between E. 3rd and E. 4th

Roads will close on Friday, October 6 at 7 a.m. and will reopen by 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 7.

Parking restrictions will also be in effect during the contest.  Please see the map for details. Vehicles that park in no parking zones may be towed at the owner’s expense.  Residents who live along no parking zones should make sure their vehicles are moved off the street.
