I am a resident of the Dwyer Farms subdivision and would like to inquire whether the City has considered pursuing a Quiet Zone designation for the railroad crossing on Edgerton Road.
With the continued growth of the community and the recent development of Dwyer Farms, there are now many more residents living in close proximity to the crossing.
I have noticed that the crossing at 199th Street and 56 Highway operates without routine train horn use, and I was wondering if a similar Quiet Zone designation could be evaluated for the Edgerton Road crossing.
