Edgerton will soon have a couple of new dining options! Whether you’re craving a big stack of pancakes or a tasty sandwich and ice cream, there’s something new coming your way.
This spring, downtown Edgerton is getting a brand-new eatery on Nelson Street. Scoopy’s Cafe will be serving up ice cream and fresh sandwiches in a casual, laid-back atmosphere. Owner Randy Strickling says they are working hard to get the space ready for customers.
“We’re thrilled to bring Scoopy’s Cafe to Edgerton,” said Strickling. “Our goal is to create a great family-friendly space where people can gather, enjoy tasty food, and make sweet memories.”
“Scoopy’s is here in downtown Edgerton, walkable for most of our community,” says Mayor Donald Roberts. “It’s going to be a great addition to downtown, right across the street from The Greenspace!”
Also coming soon, an IHOP restaurant will open at the intersection of Homestead Lane and 200th Street. Known for its classic American breakfast and diner-style meals, IHOP aims to create a warm, family-friendly environment for both locals and visitors.
“IHOP is the classic breakfast spot and a great place for families to enjoy a meal together,” says Roberts. “I hope everyone will support our local businesses and enjoy a meal out.”
Both restaurants are aiming for a late spring opening. Watch the City’s website and social media pages for information about opening dates and ribbon cuttings.
