The 2026 Meat Inferno barbeque contest returns to downtown Edgerton for it’s fifth straight year. During the event, several roads will be closed including:
Nelson Street between East 5th Street and East 3rd Street- East Hulett Street between East 4th Street to East 3rd Street
- East 4th Street between Morgan Street to one half block south of East Nelson Street
The closures go into effect September 11th, 2026 at 7:00 AM until September 12th, 2026 at 6:00 PM.
Additionally, no parking zones are in effect in the surrounding neighborhoods. Signs will be posted on Thursday, September 10. Violators may be towed. The temporary no parking zones will be in effect through Monday at noon.
