Park and Shelter Rentals and Reservations

This form is for individual reservations.  For large fundraisers or other events, please contact City Hall at 913.893.6231.  Teams wishing to reserve a ballfield should complete the Ballfield Reservation Form.  Click the button above for more details. Parks

Martin Creek Park

Martin Creek Park is a 20 acre park designed for several sporting activities and other recreational uses. The Park was created through a partnership between the Johnson County Park and Recreation District and the City of Edgerton. Located at 20200 Sunflower Rd.

Park amenities include:

Martin Creek Park Shelter

  • ½ mile walking trail
  • 3 baseball/softball fields
  • 1 soccer field
  • 1 Full playground
  • 1 Basketball court
  • Horseshoe pits (9)
  • 1 shelter
  • 2 tennis courts
  • 1 Volleyball court
Edgerton City Lake

Edgerton City Lake is located just North of Martin Creek Park and is one of Edgerton’s most popular leisure time sites. The lake is great for picnics, fishing, and small boating (non-gasoline powered boats). Swimming is not allowed. Located at 36400 E. Nelson.

Park amenities include three shelters with grills, a walking trail and a boat ramp.

Manor Park

Manor Park

Manor Park is a small neighborhood park located right in the heart of the city. This park was renovated spring of 2016 and features a shelter, playground equipment, and a half court basketball court. Located  at 410 1st St. near the intersection of 1st Street and W. Martin.

Glendell Acres Park

Glendell Acres Park is a 3 acre pocket park tucked in the Glendell Acres Subdivision. Patrons enjoy the open grass for numerous activities. This park is currently undergoing a renovation project. Other amenities include playground equipment and skating equipment. Located at 310 W. Edgewood, near the intersection of W. 4th St. and W. Edgewood.

Bridgewater Lake

Bridgewater Lake is a beautiful small lake great for fishing and nature watching tucked in a neighborhood located at 519 W. Martin Street near W. 7th St. and W. Martin. Use the sidewalk just north of the lake for access. Swimming is not allowed.

Community Hall

Community Hall can be reserved for your graduation celebration, wedding, or other special events. Kitchen, tables and chairs are included in the reservation fee.
