Summer Brings Family-Friendly Events to Edgerton

Edgerton, Kansas, is set to host a trio of vibrant summer events that promise fun for all ages.

Summer Kick-Off Block Party – Saturday, June 7

The festivities begin with the Summer Kick-Off Block Party in Downtown Edgerton. This family-friendly event features inflatables, face painting, ice cream, and a dance party, bringing together residents from across the community. It’s a perfect way to start the summer season with joy and camaraderie.

Frontier Days Festival – Friday and Saturday, June 20-21

Next up is the annual Frontier Days Festival, a celebration of Edgerton’s heritage since 1971. Held in downtown Edgerton, the festival includes inflatables, craft booths, live music, and a parade. This event is entirely volunteer run! Please note that roads in downtown will be closed during the event, and parking is available at designated areas. Community Picnic & Fireworks Show – July 3

Capping off the summer events is the Community Picnic & Fireworks Show at Martin Creek Park. Gates open at 6:00 p.m., with Two Guys and A Grill serving hot dogs and hamburgers while supplies last. Attendees can enjoy DJ music, inflatable bounce houses, face and hair painting, and yard games. The evening culminates with a spectacular fireworks display around 9:45 p.m. Parking is limited at the park, but additional parking and free shuttle services are available from City Hall and Edgerton Elementary.
